Job summary

Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville seeks a Registered Sleep Technologist for the Sleep Center. This full-time night position provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, performing polysomnography and daytime sleep studies.

You will assist under medical director supervision, maintain patient safety, score studies, and ensure accurate testing. Required: active sleep lab experience, BLS, BRPT-RSPGT, and PEARS within 90 days.

Position Overview

We are looking to add a Registered Sleep Technologist at Baptist, located in at the Baptist Sleep Center in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity. As the Registered Sleep Technologist, you will work under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. At Baptist, we specialize in advanced polysomnography care. This Registered Sleep Technologist will be located at Baptist Jacksonville Sleep Center.

Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Registered Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Polysomnography Diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Patient care
• Education
• Preferred Experience: One-Two Years Polysomnographic Experience
• Required Experience in Sleep Lab Setting
• Required Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RSPGT) - BRPT
• Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, Stabilization Certification (PEARS) - AHA Preferred Certification Note: PEARS Certification is Required within 90 days of employment.
• You will be responsible for performing daytime sleep studies on adult and pediatric patients by preparing patients, waking patients up, scoring of the daytime sleep studies, with training in pediatric scoring of the sleep studies.
• Additional duties will include review of patients' charts to validate medical necessity and accurate testing.
