Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking a Per Diem Polysomnographic Technologist to monitor sleep lab quality, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians. You will perform polysomnography, score studies, and document events per policy, while calibrating equipment and maintaining infection control.

Requires BLS, RPSGT, or RST credentials; 1–2 years of experience; HS diploma or equivalent; ADN preferred. Night shift onsite at 300 Crown Colony.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in health sciences preferred.
• BLS certification required; data conversion acceptable.
• RPSGT and/or RST credentials preferred.
• 1–2 years polysomnography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including CPAP titrations.
• Score studies and prepare reports for physician interpretation.
• Document all pertinent patient events per department policy.
• Communicate instructions, results, and relative information to patients and families.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment; notify staff for problems; ensure infection control.
• Consult with physicians regarding patient studies as needed.
• Maintain quality improvement and quality control measurements; contribute to performance improvements.
