Job summary

Banner Health's Sleep Disorders Center in Tucson is seeking a clinical polysomnographic technologist for night shifts (8PM–6AM). You will perform diagnostic sleep monitoring, including home sleep tests, and assist with QA and patient care in a fast-paced sleep lab.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, NBRC RRT orPolysomnographic Technologist credentials, BLS, and about 3 years of sleep testing experience. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registry by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists or NBRC as an RRT required.
• BLS certification required.
• 3 years of experience in sleep disorders testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain artifact-free sleep tracings reflecting physiologic processes.
• Analyze sleep records and identify sleep stages and physiologic changes.
• Troubleshoot recording issues and ensure accurate data collection.
• Review medical history and medications to guide the study as prescribed.
• Assist with department policy development and quality improvement.
• Support leadership with scheduling, orientation, and training of staff.
• Ensure QA standards per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform diagnostic sleep monitoring and act as a departmental resource.
