Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Gypsum in Savannah, GA is seeking a motivated Shipping Operator to support our manufacturing team on a 12-hour night shift (4pm–4am). You will help meet safety, production, and quality goals while handling loading tasks and equipment operation.

You will perform quality checks, tarp trailers, keep the area clean, load products with forklifts, and communicate with drivers. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a hot, loud industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience.
• At least six months of continuous employment.
• At least six months forklift experience.
• Experience using a computer/tablet in an industrial setting.
• Experience operating a heavy-load forklift.

Responsibilities

• Meet safety, production, and quality goals as a team.
• Perform quality checks and tarp trailers; keep area clean.
• Operate equipment to defined standards and product targets.
• Load product with zero defects using a forklift; coordinate with drivers.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs in a high-volume environment.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear required PPE.
