Job summary

shawinc is seeking a Forklift Operator II for the Savannah, GA area. The role entails building custom orders, transporting merchandise between trailers and storage areas, and shipping preparation. The shift is Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, with a pay rate of $24.07 per hour and year-round work.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required .
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
