Job summary

Medium is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support overnight shipping operations. The role will coordinate short-chasing efforts, resolve inventory shortages, and ensure orders are correctly completed and loaded on time.

You will work closely with warehouse teams and leadership to improve efficiency and maintain inventory accuracy. Qualifications include 3–5 years in a warehouse environment, knowledge of WMS/ASRS/WCS interfaces, and strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• A relevant high school degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience in automated warehouse preferred.
• Functional system understanding Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights and weekends when required.
• Strong communication skills - verbal, presentation, writing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overnight shipping operations to resolve inventory shortages and ensure timely order loading.
• Communicate with frontline employees and management to provide clear directions.
• Use tools to track rejects, out-of-stocks, and inventory in DMW&H and OSR.
• Operate within WMS, ASRS, WCS and case shipping system interfaces and maintain accuracy.
• Identify shorted cases and reprint labels; locate alternate inventory storage when needed.
• Maintain strong Microsoft Office skills for daily tasks.
