Job summary

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is hiring a Zero-Waste Sorter to support State Farm Arena's zero-waste vision. You will hand-sort waste and separate items into landfill, compostable, bottles and cans, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass streams. Shifts run 10 PM to 6 AM and vary by events.

Training is provided, and you will learn the process on the job. The role requires lifting up to 200 lbs and a non-standard schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs.
• Hand-sort waste
• Non-standard schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays
• Punctual and reliable communicator
• Positive attitude and consistent motivation
• Sorters must keep contamination rates low
• Take direction from Hawks, Pritchard, and Levy employees
• Work well with all departments
• Bilingual English and Spanish encouraged

Responsibilities

• Hand-sort waste
• Separate items into streams: landfill, compostable, bottles and cans, cardboard, mixed paper, glass
• Open every item in bags before separation
• Complete mandatory shift checklist before leaving
• Shift length depends on sorting effectiveness and event attendance
