Youth and Family Advocates is seeking an entry‑level direct care worker to supervise youth aged 10–17 in a residential program in Florida. The role includes 12am–8am night shifts with a $1.00/hour differential, and the tiered pay at $19/$21 per hour depending on program needs, skills, and experience.

Trauma-informed care is a core expectation. Responsibilities involve bed checks every 10 minutes, waking youths for school, supervising residents, and organizing activities while maintaining safety

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Florida driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and ability to maintain a clean MVR and insurance.
• Experience in residential youth services or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise youth clients aged 10–17 in a residential program.
• Perform bed checks every 10 minutes and wake youths for school when in session.
• Lead group discussions and plan activities aligned with development themes.
• Complete monitoring notes, incident reports, and client case records.
• Handle intake clerical tasks for new residents.
• Ensure a trauma-informed, safe, and respectful environment.
