Job summary

Printpack Inc in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a Wrapper Operator for the Converting plant. You will wrap pallets, label finished goods, inspect quality, and prepare products for warehouse storage and shipping on a 7pm–7am 3/2 rotating night shift (Sun/Wed/Thurs; Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat).

You will also manage inventory, use PRISM/MRP, and maintain equipment and 5S standards. The role requires forklift experience, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and the ability to work independently or in a team

Qualifications

• Previous stand up forklift experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Drug screening required.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Wrap pallets and apply identification tags per customer specifications while performing final quality control checks.
• Box inventory rolls and skids from rewind operations, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Operate core cutter efficiently, optimizing configurations and minimizing waste.
• Maintain T-CART's and conveyor lines for continuous slitting operations.
• Utilize PRISM/MRP systems for pallet tracking, job checkout, and data entry.
• Create and apply finished goods labels and file job jackets for Finishing Department.
• Operate forklifts and mobile equipment safely, including completing required safety checks.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance checks, including battery inspections and hoist monitoring.
• Maintain accurate wrapping supply inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Complete daily safety and 5S audit logs according to company procedures.
