Job summary

Steele Solutions, located in Waupaca, WI, seeks a Production Supervisor for the Night Shift Welding to lead and direct the welding department operations. You will ensure schedules, quality, and safety while mentoring crew members in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a focus on continuous improvement, productivity, and teamwork. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Quality, and Procurement to resolve issues and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associates degree in Manufacturing, Business, Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to welding and production team members.
• Lead daily production activities to ensure schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture through training, communication, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Assign and prioritize work effectively to maximize labor utilization and departmental performance.
