Job summary

Madix, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing operations leader to drive efficiency and quality in our production environment. The role focuses on prioritizing tasks, coaching staff, and enforcing systems to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will manage workflow, analyze production data, and implement corrective actions when deviations occur. A high school diploma is required, with a BS/associates in manufacturing ops preferred, and ~2 years in an assembly leadership role is desired.

Responsibilities

• Establish priorities and plan daily work to achieve production targets.

• Read charts and production schedules to determine requirements.
• Maintain attendance, holidays, and safety compliance; generate production reports.

Essential Functions Achieves results by establishing priorities, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job results, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, or procedures. Provides creative leadership and direction to employees to improve operating efficiencies, equipment performance, ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Manages workflow by monitoring steps of the process, setting process variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel, and developing reporting procedures. Implement existing production standards and make adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications. Recommend and implement action plans to correct deviations noted during daily work, internal or external audits. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other reports to determine production requirements. Complete administration duties that include time and attendance system, holiday/vacation planning, production reports, back order reviews, past due list, and safety violations/concerns. Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Working Knowledge of lean process preferre. Communication skills (verbal & written). Strong time management skills, deadline and detail oriented. Demonstrated ability to work in a team. Positive attitude and action oriented. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Education and Experience High school diploma/GED required. BS or Associates degree in manufacturing operations management preferred. 2 years of experience in assembly manufacturing leadership role preferred.
