Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift in Williamsburg, VA. The role offers an hourly base of $24 with a $1 shift premium and an additional $1 shift differential, totaling about $26 per hour.

Work hours are 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with opportunities for overtime and ongoing training. Benefits start on day one and include health coverage, vacation time, holidays, retirement plans, parental leave, and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year MIG and TIG welding experience or a technical diploma or certification in welding.
• No relocation benefit; must reside within 50 miles of the work location; certain military exceptions apply.
• No immigration sponsorship or support for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding per instructions and drawings.
• Handle materials and assist other fabricators as needed.
• Operate welding tools and equipment including spot welders and robotics.
• Inspect parts and maintain documentation; report quality issues.
