Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a CNC/welding associate for the Richmond, KY plant. The role focuses on welding center operations across MIG, spot, robotic, and manual processes to meet quality specs and cycle times.
You will support CNC machining, perform deburring, and document quality data in the ERP system while maintaining safety and efficiency on 3rd shift.

Working as a member of a team or as an individual, performs and has primary responsibility for various types of welding center operations in multiple work centers as required, including, but not limited to MIG, spot (resistance), robotic, silicon bronze (MIG), and manual welders, to produce quality parts per the Challenge Manufacturing Quality Standards, production schedule and engineering specifications at the prescribed cycle time (rate). Specifically, this position will be supporting the CNC Machine operation, deburring axels. Performs necessary quality checks, records information in PLEX (Enterprise Resource Planning system -ERP), and performs general utility work to meet work schedule.
3rd Shift / 10:00PM to 6:30AM M-F position available, located at our Plant 11 in Richmond, KY. Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.
Up to 90 days training required One (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
