Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, seeks a Quartz - Water Treatment Technician for the D Shift (Nights) in Tennessee to ensure safe, reliable water supply.

You will perform pH and turbidity testing, adjust chemical dosing, operate and maintain equipment, document results, and collaborate with shift leaders to meet production needs while upholding safety standards. This role offers growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with water quality parameters (pH, turbidity) testing.
• Ability to adjust chemical amounts for proper use.
• Experience with forklift safe handling.
• Maintenance and minor repairs on water treatment equipment.
• Prepare reports and maintain records of water quality data.

Responsibilities

• Test water quality for pH and turbidity and ensure plant standards.
• Monitor and adjust chemical amounts for proper dosing.
• Operate forklift to move/replace chemical containers safely.
• Maintain and repair water treatment equipment and distribution systems.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain records of data and actions taken.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with shift leaders to meet water quality/volume needs.
• Communicate water treatment conditions to management daily.
• Troubleshoot deficiencies and help develop SOPs to prevent recurrence.
• Climb ladders to access tanks and inspect systems.
• Use computer interfaces to operate water systems.
