Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Water Quality Technician to test water quality, adjust chemicals, operate a forklift, and maintain water treatment equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You will prepare detailed reports, ensure safety compliance, collaborate with shift leaders, and help develop SOPs to prevent deficiencies in the future; wastewater experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Perform routine water quality testing for parameters such as pH and turbidity.
• Monitor and adjust chemical amounts to ensure proper chemical use.
• Maintain, and conduct minor repairs on water treatment equipment and distribution infrastructure to ensure a continuous supply of water.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain records of water quality data, equipment maintenance schedules, and any corrective actions taken.

Responsibilities

• Climb ladders to access top of tanks to inspect water conditions and chemical delivery systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate daily with management on water treatment conditions.
• Respond to and troubleshoot water quality deficiencies, help develop plans and SOPs to prevent deficiencies in the future.
