Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Quartz Technician for the D shift (nights) to monitor and maintain water treatment quality. You will perform routine testing, adjust chemicals, and operate water systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

You will document data, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with shift leaders to meet water quality targets. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within a large manufacturing group.

Qualifications

• Experience with water quality testing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.
• Forklift experience or ability to operate forklift safely.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Perform routine water quality testing for parameters such as pH and turbidity.
• Monitor and adjust chemical amounts to ensure proper use.
• Use forklift to move and replace empty chemical containers safely.
• Maintain and repair water treatment equipment and distribution systems.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain water quality data records.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Coordinate with shift leaders to meet water quality/volume needs.
• Communicate daily with management on conditions.
• Respond to water quality issues and help prevent future deficiencies.
• Inspect water conditions and chemical delivery systems from tanks tops.
• Operate water systems via computer interfaces.
