Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Quartz Mold Line Operator for the H shift (nights). You will operate and monitor mold line equipment, follow QMS and lean manufacturing practices, and maintain a safe, clean area while supporting quality and productivity metrics.

The role covers a 6:45 PM–7:00 AM schedule, with duties including loading/unloading machines, weighing/mixing ingredients, and creating samples for QC.

• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.
• Load/unload machines.
• Performs periodic checks on output.
• Maintains accurate documentation/records related to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS) and lean manufacturing principles.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

MOLD LINE OPERATOR- F SHIFT

HOURS: 6:45PM - 7AM (2-2-3)

Job Functions:

Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment

Follows the Quality Management System (QMS)

Stocks lines/machines with needed materials

Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients

Load/ unload machines

Performs periodic checks on output

Creates samples and performs quality control checks

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues

Maintains accurate documentation/ records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area

Follows standard operating procedures, safe operating practices, 5S, standard work and other lean manufacturing principles

Keeps area safe, clean and organized

Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other team members

Must be willing to cross department lines and help the team where needed

Performs other related duties as required
