Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage daily freight scheduling to align with customer needs and inventory flow.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and process discipline in a busy warehouse environment, with responsibilities spanning staffing, shipping/receiving, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with management.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Ensure associates follow standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Produce activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, and receiver reports.
• Oversee Storage Buy Audit COP execution.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Oversee inventory rotation and space optimization.
