Great Lakes Wine & Spirits in Metro Detroit (Highland Park) is hiring a Warehouse Sorter Clerk for the Night Shift. The role focuses on operating sorting and conveyance systems to maximize production and accuracy in outbound loading, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, and have 6 months of conveyance experience; physical requirements include lifting up to 55 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and standing throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience operating and maintaining conveyance systems.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate sorting and conveyance systems to maximize production and accuracy for outbound loading.
• Communicate production and picking issues to Warehouse Management (late cases, backups, delays, sequences).
• Call for backup during extended absences or mechanical issues as needed.
• Turn on/off conveyance equipment before and after production.
• Manually jog cases through when needed and address jams/breakage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and PPE usage as required.
• Apply labels on cases within Highland Park warehouse and assist pallet loading.
• Stack light/heavy cases onto pallets for loading onto trucks.
