Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in Pittsburgh. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, ensure accurate inventory handling, and optimize productivity while maintaining safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, program adherence, and on-time order fulfillment. Responsibilities include supervising receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping; coaching staff; ensuring FIFO and proper paperwork; and

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and material handling equipment.
Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products for the assigned production shift.
Supervises a team of warehouse associates including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and mentoring staff.
Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling and proper loading of orders.
Ensures products are stocked properly and FIFO procedures are followed.
Promotes service quality and ensures staff understands their roles to meet customer expectations.
Coordinates pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
Utilizes the warehouse management system to maximize productivity and analyzes performance.
Handles building security, including locking and alarm checks after shift if needed.
Enforces safety protocols and compliance with health and safety programs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
