Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a Receiving Supervisor with 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution/transportation setting. The role offers a competitive salary of $75K plus quarterly bonuses and benefits after 30 days.

This position reports to site leadership and focuses on safety, productivity, and building a team-oriented environment. You will learn to manage day-to-day site operations, supervise associates, and potentially run portions of the business.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven experience delivering high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Write and balance daily bank deposits.
• Create daily work logs and send to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer service or associate issues daily.
• Ensure all associates follow Capstone policies and safety rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings and ensure participation.
• Assist in managing site and department budgets.
• Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements; interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Oversee data entry for services performed.
• Complete daily closeout, including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll records.
