Job summary

UNFI, the largest distributor of conventional, natural, organic, and specialty products in the United States and Canada, is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation Associate. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards across the warehouse, using equipment like floor scrubbers and vacuums.

Responsibilities include responding to spills, sweeping, discarding leaks, and supporting maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safety guidelines.
• Warehouse/Operations experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work in cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to spill and damage calls throughout facility.
• Sweep and vacuum dock plates and sanitation barriers.
• Keep all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallets, wrap, labels, and paper.
• Discard leaking product and log the incident.
• Assist in special maintenance projects.
