Job summary

UNFI is the largest distributor of conventional, natural, organic and specialty products in the United States and Canada. We hire a Warehouse Associate to join our Distribution team and support a wide range of operations nationwide.

Responsibilities include responding to spill and damage calls, operating a floor scrubber, sweeping and vacuuming, and maintaining HACCP and safety standards. We offer competitive benefits and a path for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment when supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to spill and damage calls In the throughout facility
• Sweep and vacuum dock plates and sanitation barriers.
• Keep all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper
• Discard leaking product and record on log
• Assist in special maintenance projects.
• Operates floor scrubber
• Sweeps and mop sanitation barriers
• Warehouse/Operations preferred but not required.
• Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality
• Possess an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
• Removes empty pallets and clean and mop slots
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
