Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a sanitation associate to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. The role involves following the sanitation schedule, operating cleaning equipment, and sanitizing facilities throughout the site.

Responsibilities include removing debris, cleaning spills, and ensuring walls, floors, and common areas are maintained to standard. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and prior sanitation experience in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from warehouse and dock areas.
• Clean spills of product or foreign matter.
• Operate power scrubber and scrubber walk behind equipment.
• Clean walls, floors, racking, doors, and other surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms.
• Follow daily sanitation schedule to maintain continuous program.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
