Job summary

CHG in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Receiving associate for our manufacturing facility that produces quality food products. You will be responsible for receiving, unloading, and storing raw materials and ensuring accurate inventory.

The role includes forklift operation, helping production, maintaining GMP and safety standards, and supporting cycle counts. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; a $1.50/hour differential applies between 6 PM and 6 AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, inspect, and relocate raw materials upon receipt in Shipping and Receiving.
• Pull raw materials and deliver to production personnel as needed.
• Relocate finished goods to warehouse racks.
• Pick, stage, and inspect outbound loads and load trailers.
• Document transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Work in the freezer for extended periods.
• Assist in cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.
