Job summary

C.H. Guenther and Son is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Receiving associate for our Lenexa, KS facility. You will unload, inspect, and relocate raw materials, and deliver materials to production staff as required.

The role requires readiness for overtime and weekend work, plus a $1.50/hour night shift differential for hours between 6 PM and 6 AM. You must maintain inventory accuracy and support GMP and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, inspect, and relocate raw materials upon receipt in Shipping and Receiving.
• Pull raw materials and deliver to production personnel as needed.
• Move finished goods to warehouse racks and stage outbound loads.
• Inspect inbound trailers for temperature and integrity; document transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area; follow GMP/PPE/SOP/HACCP/OSHA.
