Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking an entry-level forklift operator for our manufacturing facility in Lenexa, KS. The role involves receiving, unloading, and storing raw materials, moving goods to production and warehouse areas, and preparing outbound shipments.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety and GMP compliance. The position requires reading and following safety rules, with overtime and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, inspect, and relocate raw materials upon receipt in Shipping and Receiving.
• Pull raw materials and deliver to production personnel as needed.
• Relocate finished goods to warehouse racks and stage outbound loads.
• Inspect incoming trailers for integrity and temperature compliance.
• Document transactions to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain GMP/SOP compliance.
