Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking an entry-level Shipping/Receiving associate to unload, inspect, and move raw materials and finished goods within a bustling manufacturing facility in Lenexa, KS. The role requires frequent freezer work and adherence to GMP and safety protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus forklift experience or the ability to obtain certification. Overtime and weekend work may be required; a $1.50 per hour differential applies for 6PM–6AM shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have the ability to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, inspect, and relocate raw materials on receipt in Shipping and Receiving.
• Pull raw materials and deliver to production personnel as needed.
• Relocate finished goods to warehouse racks.
• Pick, stage, and inspect outbound loads and load trailers.
• Document all transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Work in the freezer for extended periods.
• Assist in cycle counts for raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and safe conditions.
