Job summary

US Foods in Tracy, California is seeking a Receiver-Day to verify inbound product against paperwork, label and stock correctly, and maintain inventory accuracy. This on-site role runs from 12:00am to 10:00am and requires basic warehouse skills with adherence to food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 months of warehousing experience; strong reading, math and communication skills; ability to operate pallet jacks and lift requirements as outlined.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months warehousing experience required.
• High School/GED or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to insure correct pack/size, quantity, product quality and temperature, pallets.
• Check temperature of all inbound frozen and refrigerated products to ensure proper temperatures.
• Check the cleanliness of the trailers before they are unloaded.
• Verify quantity of each product to ensure inventory records match documentation and report variances.
• Apply labels to all incoming product to identify it for stocking and inventory tracking.
• Complete required paperwork for daily receiving per USDA and SOX requirements; sign to authenticate products received are placed into inventory.
