Save-A-Lot, Ltd. is seeking a Receiver for the Williamsport, MD facility. The role involves inspecting, counting, and storing inbound grocery products, while maintaining cold chain and documenting variances.

Responsibilities include unloading trailers, palletizing goods, and operating warehouse equipment. Applicants should have PITOT certification, 6–12 months warehouse experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• PITOT certification required.
• Six to twelve months experience operating industrial equipment and/or warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong detail orientation; good math and basic computer skills.
• Must read, write and speak English; Spanish a plus in some locations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse; flexible shifts including holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and count inbound grocery product from suppliers.
• Palletize inbound product according to DC needs by adding/removing layers or restacking cases.
• Unload inbound tractor-trailers, including backhaul loads.
• Inspect all loads for damage and infestation; report discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of Bills of Lading; record variances.
• Record information in tally sheets or WMS for tracking (expiry dates, country codes).
• Place receiving labels on pallets; put product away in designated locations.
• Maintain product integrity and cold chain during receiving.
• Safely operate powered industrial machinery: pallet jacks, forklift, reach trucks.
• Meet or exceed minimum productivity standards.
• Follow safety, attendance, and company policies.
