Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Receiver/Checker to verify inbound shipments, record accurate counts, and support inventory control in a multi-temperature warehouse environment. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and experience with pallet jacks and forklifts.

You will work in a fast-paced facility, using RF devices and a warehouse management system to ensure correct quantities, proper labeling, and timely processing from receiving to shipping.

Qualifications

• Examine inbound shipments and verify against records.
• Record accurate counts and pallet types for PO completion.
• Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight and assist inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Examine contents and compare with manifests, invoices, or orders to verify intake accuracy.
• Record shipment data (weight, charges, space, damages) for reporting and records.
• Maintain inventory through cycle/directed counting and resolve issues with shortages or overages.
• Operate the warehouse management system and necessary technology (RF guns, voice picking).
• Label pallets and ensure inbound freight matches purchase orders.
• Assist with safe handling and storage of products across freezer and perishable zones.
