Job summary

Republic National Distributing Company is seeking a Warehouse Production Shift Manager for the Night Shift to oversee loading of delivery trucks and to supervise and train warehouse staff. The role ensures security, proper storage, and accurate inventory handling in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree, 3–5 years of warehouse management or training experience, and a valid forklift certification.

Qualifications

Associates degree from a two year college or technical school preferred.
Three to five years previous warehouse management and/or training experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Determine work procedures, prepare routing and expedite workflow to load delivery trucks for distribution the following day.
Manage 3-5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 25+ employees in the Warehouse.
Interview, hire, and train employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Responsible for maintaining all inventoried products in the warehouse facility and ensuring security and proper handling to prevent pilferage and loss.
Ensure proper receiving procedures and accurate entry of quantities into the inventory control system.
