Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops in New Jersey to assist inbound or outbound activities, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate material handling equipment, and work overtime with short notice.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 pounds required or preferred.
• Ability to stand for full shift and perform lifting.
• RF scanner experience preferred; ability to learn systems.
• Overtime may be required on short notice.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders, including picking, quality checks, sorting, pallet building, packing, loading and shipment prep.
• Pick large case items with equipment or small unit items onto designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duties.
• Operate equipment such as cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack.
• Maintain housekeeping and inventory control for a safe work environment.
• Handle routine tasks and problem resolution.
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
• Follow OSHA standards and company policies.
