Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector in Springfield, MO. Shifts are night-based (Sun–Thu, 4 PM start; 8–10 hour days). Training precedes an earning potential of up to $37 per hour, with Tuesday 3–6 PM follow-up sessions at 4551 West Junction Street.

Job involves selecting cases from multi-level racks, palletizing, and prepping for shipment with lift devices. Safety and accuracy are emphasized in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs. regularly and up to approximately 60-100 lbs.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures and keep work area safe.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and use PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Locate products on multi-level racks according to order sheets.
• Move completed orders to shipping dock staging area for shipment.
• Complete necessary paperwork and shut down equipment at shift end.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
