Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Operator Specialist for Kitting in Fort Wayne, IN. This E-Shift role (Thu-Fri 10PM-6:30AM & Sat-Sun 6PM-6:30AM) focuses on assembling and installing servers and electronic components, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate parts handling.

You will perform quality checks, manage material movements, and operate warehousing equipment while maintaining safety and 5S standards. Background checks and drug tests are required; salary is $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests.
• Capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide material orders, customer service, and inventory management.
• Assemble and install servers and electronic components using hand and power tools.
• Oversee loading/unloading freight and manage shipping documents.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for spare parts.
• Process return shipments using warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor with laser measurement devices.
• Populate components and install cabling into racks per diagrams.
• Install rack hardware with hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety and 5S standards; keep area clean.
• Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the shift.
