Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operator Specialist for Kitting on an E-Shift schedule (Thu-Fri 10PM-6:30AM & Sat-Sun 6PM-6:30AM). The role focuses on assembling servers, installing electronic components, and maintaining organized inventory at the Fort Wayne facility.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, quality checks, cycle counts, cabinetry and cabling in server racks, and safe operation of material handling equipment while complying with safety

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Critical thinking abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Capable to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must pass any background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor.
• Install rack hardware and cabling into server racks.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards.
• Assist cross‑training in multiple departments.
