Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate at our New York facility to safely load and unload finished goods, maintain strict FIFO inventory control, and operate material handling equipment. You will ensure accurate documentation and comply with all GMP and safety standards in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Strong math skills, reliability, and the ability to obtain forklift certification are required. SAP proficiency is a plus, and experience in food manufacturing is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year forklift operation experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck certification and maintain certification.
• Experience in warehouse operations, food manufacturing a plus.
• Strong math skills.
• Good computer skills; SAP a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environment with varying conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, or 100 with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safe loading and unloading of finished goods according to orders and FIFO inventory methods.
• Accurate inventory control to maximize product codes and rotation.
• Operate material handling equipment including lift trucks, pallet jacks, and related safety procedures.
• Use and monitor automated warehouse management software and inventory scanning tools.
• Perform pre/post load inspections and complete shipping/receiving records.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs; adhere to health, safety, and chemical handling rules.
• Cross-train with other departments and support audits and customer requirements.
• Work 24/7 with rotating shifts and potential weekend work.
