Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in New York is seeking a Warehouse Operator to load/unload finished goods, manage inventory, and operate material handling equipment in a 24/7 facility. You will follow FIFO and SOPs, use SAP and warehouse systems, and support audits.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of lift truck experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work nights in a cold, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year demonstrated experience operating a lift truck.
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck certification and maintain certification.
• Experience in warehouse operations in a shipping/receiving role.
• Food manufacturing experience a plus.
• Strong math skills.
• Good computer software skills; SAP a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload finished goods per customer orders and requirements.
• Maintain accurate FIFO inventory to maximize product dates and rotation.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (lift trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Use warehouse management software, inventory scanning, and related tools.
• Load refrigerated trailers per customer specifications.
• Ensure proper SOPs, safety inspections, and GMP compliance.
• Document shipping/receiving records neatly and accurately.
• Support internal/external audits and cross-train with other departments.
