Job summary

Batesville is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the RDC team, overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and customer service coordination in a safety-conscious environment.

You will manage loading/unloading, equipment maintenance coordination, and ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA rules while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. A strong background in lean logistics and people leadership is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• LEAN/CI principles in a logistics environment.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to interpret data and derive actionable information.
• Root cause analysis and countermeasures experience.
• Basic leadership skills.
• Intermediate customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Run day to day RDC operation in the most efficient manner possible, leading the warehouse team in daily activities (i.e. load/unload trucks, perform and reconcile inventory, and assist the Customer Service Center as required).
• Monitor and schedule maintenance of all RDC equipment (roll-loaders, dock equipment, etc.).
• Effectively communicate with customers and support personnel to provide excellent service.
• Maintain current customer base by providing excellent customer service, including building synergy with local sales force.
• Ensure adherence to governmental (DOT, OSHA, etc.) regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of safety, organization and inventory accuracy.
• Lead employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws.
