Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate on the 2nd shift. The position supports shipping and receiving within a fast-paced distribution center, with duties including pallet handling, order selection, and equipment operation.

Starting pay is $15/hour, with benefits starting Day 1 and opportunities for growth in a company serving independent restaurants and other customers. The role requires physical work in a multi-temperature environment and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months warehouse or distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Works in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, pallet wrapping, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Maintains clean, safe work area; reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs daily safety checks of the forklift/pallet jack.
• Performs damage checks on items and reports to supervisor.
• Swaps batteries and completes vehicle inspection checklist.
• Reviews work schedule and production paperwork for operations.
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards per location.
• Completes all necessary paperwork and secures equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
