CoxHealth is seeking a eAcute Virtual Med-Surg Nurse to join the Virtual Care Command Center at Cox South in Springfield. The role blends bedside nursing with virtual oversight, supporting admissions, discharges, care plans, and patient education from a state-of-the-art command center.

The position emphasizes collaboration with clinicians, pharmacists, and the Early Intervention Team, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous learning in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri
• Two years' inpatient RN experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Basic computer skills and knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Develop and maintain care plans; provide patient education.
• Coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
• Mentor new nurses and support bedside RNs.
• Monitor patient conditions and support virtual physicians and staff.
