Job summary

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Chattanooga is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Outpatient Triage Assistant for a full-time, overnight weekday role. The position supports our overnight emergency team from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, at our Chattanooga, Tennessee hospital.

You will triage patients, document histories and vitals, and assist veterinarians and technicians with diagnostics and care.

Qualifications

• Compassion for animals and clients.
• Interest in emergency veterinary medicine and critical care.
• Able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming emergency veterinary patients and identify those needing immediate attention.
• Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs.
• Safely restrain patients for examinations, diagnostics, and procedures.
