Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products is seeking a flexible, safety-minded operator for the third shift (6pm–6am) to support continuous paint line operations. The role requires cross-training across multiple production roles and the ability to work up to 12-hour shifts with potential shift differential.

You will operate basic hand and power tools, assist with equipment changes, and coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years manufacturing operating experience.
• Cross-training across multiple roles or machines preferred.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across material handler and operator roles to support paint line operation.
• Serve as lead resource on shift, providing guidance to operators and material handlers.
• Communicate with Production and Quality Control to resolve issues and meet goals.
