Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products, LLC is seeking a Utility Operator for third shift (6pm-6am) to cover multiple roles on the paint line, cross-train across material handling and operator duties, and provide leadership on the shift.

You will support the Production Supervisor, aim to minimize downtime, operate overhead crane and forklift, and help ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards while communicating with Production and Quality Control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 2+ years manufacturing operating experience.
• Cross-training across multiple roles or machines.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across all paint line roles to support operation.
• Lead shift guidance and coach operators and material handlers.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Communicate with Production and Quality Control to resolve issues.
