Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is hiring a 3rd shift Utility Mechanic/Electrical Technician at our Geneva, IL site to support maintenance of operations and production equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance in a team environment.

The role requires 7–9 years of industrial maintenance experience, GMP familiarity, and ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights. A safety-first approach and PLC/HMI knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance or Electrician field.
7–9 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience.
Familiar with GMP, safety procedures (LOTO, Hot Work), and equipment drawings.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment including motors, pumps, valves, and VFDs.
Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and electrical drawings.
Complete maintenance work orders in the system.
Maintain safe work practices and follow GMP standards.
