Virtua Health is seeking a part-time unit secretary to support nursing operations on the Lourdes Health System unit in South Jersey. This role is night shift, 7:00pm–7:00am, with two 12-hour rotations and every 3rd weekend.

You will maintain patient records, coordinate patient flow, answer calls, and assist with discharge planning and transportation coordination, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth unit operations.

Qualifikationen

• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Ability to learn medical terminology quickly to maintain accurate records.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

• Processes and maintains clerical information on unit.
• Responds to and screens telephone messages and patient information requests.
• Coordinates patient flow, unit rounding, and visitor security.
• Maintains electronic medical records and communicates with providers.
• Facilitates admission, discharge, transfer status, and coordination with transport.
• Maintains supplies and places orders as required.
