Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a 3rd Shift - Unarmed Security Officer at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Missouri. The role requires customer service experience, security background, and the ability to handle access control, logging, and patrol duties.

Compensation starts at $18.50 per hour with a 40-hour week, Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00pm–5:00am. The position emphasizes reliability, physical fitness, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and/or detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft and other crimes.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking).
• Respond to distress calls, alarms and emergencies by contacting local responders.
• Identify and report safety and security concerns promptly.
• Ensure timely submission of documentation (reports).
• Ensure rules/regulations are enforced and followed.
• Other duties as determined by management.
