Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a vigilant security officer to observe and report at a client site, patrol premises, and enforce site policies. The role involves standing for most of the workday and maintaining safety at night shifts in Town of Hempstead, NY.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS Security Guard License, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. A valid driver’s license and physical fitness are required to perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
