Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a security guard to observe and report activities at client sites, conduct regular patrols, and ensure the safety of premises and personnel. The role requires standing for most of the shift and working Monday through Friday, 0000 to 0800, at client sites in New York.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid NYS Security Guard License, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
