Job summary

HandyTube Corporation in Camden, Delaware, is seeking a Machine Operator on 2nd shift (4pm–2:30am, Mon-Thu) to transform steel coils into worked tubing using safe operating practices. Responsibilities include machine setup, quality checks, and continuous improvement activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus manufacturing experience; ability to read technical specs and use measurement tools. Full-time with benefits and night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required, tubed products preferred.
• Strong reading and interpretation of safety instructions, job orders and quality specs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One Priority of all HTC employees.
• Read job order for product and specifications such as quality and size.
• Set up machine, observe operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces for conformance to specs.
• Select and adjust equipment to production requirements including speeds and feed rates.
• Perform routine lubrication and preventive maintenance as required.
• Cross train on additional manufacturing equipment to maximize production goals.
• Maintain a neat and well-organized work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean activities as directed.
